Two show gardens at RHS Tatton Park, both supported with Natural Paving’s Cornsilk flagstones, took podium places following RHS judging on Wednesday 24th July. The Alzheimer's Society – ‘Remember to Reflect’ took the premier award with a Gold Medal, whilst the ‘Dirty Stop Outs’ garden took a proud Silver award.
Attracting much media attention, both show gardens were the locations of choice for local BBC and Granada film crews from which to report on the show and deliver the news and weather.
The Alzheimer's Society garden designed by Louise Harrison Holland of Blue Tulip Garden Design and sponsored by Mills & Reeves, was a focal point of the entire show. Louise’s vision of a tranquil outdoor space for quiet reflection was effortlessly realised by Greenbelt Landscapes who brought the design to life. The garden also highlighted how Natural Paving’s flagstones can be used to create seating, with a luxurious design by where the patio and seating area were one.
The Dirty Stop Out’s Garden was designed with practicality in mind and as intended gave visitors inspiration for how to really make the most of their gardens and enjoy the outdoors whatever the weather. Michele Martin of Outside Influence included some fantastic talking points within the garden including an area sheltered by a living green roof, Jamie Oliver Pizza Oven, Brother Cadfael Roses and Natural Paving’s light contemporary Cornsilk flagstones which the visitors adored.
Both gardens were created and installed by Natural Paving Installer Greenbelt Landscapes, who were also the inspiration behind the premier Gold Award winning BALI show garden at this year’s Harrogate Spring Flower Show. The combination of Greenbelt Landscapes with Natural Paving Cornsilk Flagstones is proving an unbeatable force when it comes to award winning gardens.
